The PCSX2 is you friend. So is investing in a "adjusted" Xbox 360. There are a lot of cool things going on with people Remastering and modding some of the classic sports games from the golden age. Football, basketball, wrestling...you name it!

RPCS3 if you dont want to look for the "Adjusted" Xbox. As long as you have a pretty decent / modern computer setup

Could be as simple as a difference in company philosophy. 2k tried exclusive license with baseball and it didn’t go well. The Show tapped into the market as an exclusive and I think it cost 2k a bundle.

On the other hand with NBA they stuck with an open license and knocked EA Live out of the market with a superior product. That game sells as well as madden with way less licensing cost.

EA has gone the opposite route with NFL. They bought ESPN, Arena League, NCAA, NFL, NFLPA exclusives originally. Half those licenses never got used. It was just owned to eliminate competition. It’s been effective but had to eat into profits pre-exclusives

Why do you assume the price they would need to pay would make the game profitable? Do you think 2K can make a better game for less money than EA?
