I tried this mode and the problem is that it is way too easy to score with stars... specially shooting and mainly when open... it feels cheap and arcadey... this should be closer to a real NBA simulation but it is not unfortanetely... what a waste of an opportunity!!!

First, I wanted to say if you feel this mode of shooting is too easy is because your just an advance shooter. Plus give 2K a while to tweak the shooting then you’ll see people complain. But overall, this mode is in dire need of a change but what?

I suggested that 2K make PNO into 3 categories:

Arcaded - NBA Jam style.

Simulation which we got right now.

Comp Mode – For Extreme gamers who want elite versus matches.

Now for Comp Mode there’s a catch as 2K model is all about microtransaction why not make it a paid match. So that this mode truly gets an upgrade. Comp players paid 500VC each to get a total of 1,000 whoever wins. Game should have stipulation and conditions. I wouldn’t know but as a community any suggestion, please and thanks.

I put that amount so it will help users who want to move up the ranking of the GOAT maybe want to try the comp mode. Need a true reason for users to want to move up as there’s no true incentive.

I've noticed zero input lag so far through probably 15 games in PNO. I hope that continues because it's a big improvement from last year

I'd echo shooting being almost too easy with good shooters. If you are wide open it's pretty much automatic (shooting never felt like that to me in 2k23)

Absolutely hate the perfect shot cut scenes

Yeah is there any way to remove that?

I've basically removed all overlay at this point. Only shot feedback and player indicator are on for me

I'm tier 3 so I mostly see Trae. I haven't had an issue with him. I never guard straight up, I always play angles.

Also, defensive match ups really mean something this year (specifically strength). Make sure you got your best defender on him.

I normally go with Cade who isn't my best defender, but the height advantage is a plus for me.

I don't think so unfortunately. There's a setting for it which I have turned off but that seems to apply to offline modes only
