Those seeing the trades, what is your trade frequency slider set at?

I played an entire season. I just finished it and trade frequency slider was at default the whole season. There were plenty of trades in July. I put certain players on my team on the trade block in July and got offers for almost all of them by the end of July. In the offseason I once again saw plenty of trades. It may be the roster you are using. All I can say is it was not an issue in my existing franchise

Yeah I got offers for players I had on the block, but the CPU didn't trade with itself at all during July.

I just don't understand how there were 3 trades and then the deadline comes and boom zero. Not sure what the reasoning is, but its quite frustrating.

Something I noticed in 10 years of simming. Each year there seems to be less trades so there is definitely something there. I run the trade slider at default.

Yeah I’m not sure what is going on but something seems off. Not sure but it is honestly killing my immersion/enjoyment of my franchise

They really need to redo the game with an entirely new code too many issues.

This is what I am doing this year. Set it at 0 for April. Bump it up to 1 for May. 3 for June. Default 5 for the first two weeks of July. 8 the week before the deadline and then all the way up the week of the deadline.

I had a similar issue. In 24 I had a limited number of deals, and (playing as the Mets) did a pretty big fire sale and traded off a lot of guys, which made up a majority of the deals done

In 25, I am in August. I went through and there were 14 TOTAL trades made during the season, and I made 3 of them. The offseason before was similar too with a pretty quiet offseason.

I have contemplated restarting with the updated rosters (playing with the default injury rosters) but haven't been able to bring myself to do it. Put a lo of time in this one.

All of that said, there is a part of me that also enjoys it as the teams are keeping themselves together more and making more realistic moves and not as many changes. I went through, the largest number of moves a team made from one season to a next was 8, which to me seems realistic compared to real life.
