- Team that is not a contender, if they have an outside shot at the wild card that is fine, but I don't want heavy contender
- A current/budding star at the MLB level. Or a few players who could turn into stars, but also might bust.

Plus, the Marlins were a wildcard last year, but they arent a lock IRL this year or in MLBTS24 , but they can certainly at least make a run on the wildcard in 24.
And Jazz Chisholm has it covered both ways, still a potentential star or a potential Shooty Babbitt.

- A team with a new general manager, or a general manager on the hot seat to start the year (I like to pretend I am the new general manager to keep it realistic)

- Team that is not a contender, if they have an outside shot at the wild card that is fine, but I don't want heavy contender.

- An interesting storyline to the team/players

- A current/budding star at the MLB level. Or a few players who could turn into stars, but also might bust.

- Some fun prospects (ideally a couple with face scans)

- Roster flexibility, whether it be via free agency or trades

- A decent looking stadium

- Good looking uniforms/options

I mostly have it narrowed down to the Marlins, White Sox, Red Sox, or Tigers. I would add the Mets, but a few youtubers/streamers I watch are doing the Mets and I would just copy what they do knowing myself lol. So no Mets for me this year.

Any thoughts or opinions on which of these four would be the most enjoyable for me?

I would say go for the Tigers. It’s a team I’ve been thinking about playing with myself. They have a really nice young core of hitters to build around in Greene, Torkelson, Carpenter and Keith. Plus have atleast two top 30 prospects in Max Clark (OF) and Jackson Jobe (P). You will definitely need to bolster the starting pitching through free agency and trades. I also think they have great jerseys. Very clean and simplistic, definitely a more old school style. The ballpark is nothing too special but it’s also not bad either. A few unique touches for sure.

I have a Marlins franchise as one of my 2 franchises and I did a complete reboot of the club. But kept their SP's. Jazz is gone. :-(

Well the A’s and Angels have a weak farm. The stadium is in the eye of the beholder. I know the A’s stadium is not a fan favorite but you have options in the stadium vault and with old mlb stadiums in the game or create your own stadium.

Giants or Rockies fit this bill imo.

NATIONALS
WHITE SOX
PIRATES

As said above, you'd really have to play some games in their stadiums to see if you like it.

If you're in it for the long haul, the White Sox are likely getting a new stadium in 2029/2030 in the south loop with a city skyline view. Initial Renderings for a proposal look amazing, I bet there's one in the Stadium Creator. I was actually thinking about using them myself for that reason.
