Love pitchers mouthing "that's a strike" to umpire's. Not seen that before.

I love that I'm seeing a lot of high choppers in the infield this year. Even more awesome when one bounces over an infielders head!

Playing a game tied at 5 in the 9th and both teams had entire dugout (or near entire) on the top step

I played a game today and my first two outs were infield pop outs that the catcher caught. I can't remember the exact quote but it was something along the lines of

"Looks like the wind isn't blowing out today"

They finally added the odd biplane and helicopter into the ambient soundtrack. Was crying about that for years. Very happy about that as a headphones-with-volume-cranked guy.

Still think more could be done to make it sound (read: feel) like you’re outside. The odd gust of wind across a live mic for example. More “body” to the soundstage in general. Etc.

But point is, big thanks for the detail. Like I said, had been asking for it for years.

Love the St. Louis arch design cut into the shading of the Cardinal's outfield at Busch Stadium.

Re: MLB The Show 24 Little Things Thread (Positive Little Things)

I don't know if this is new or not, but I've always been able to tell almost instantly by the outfielders reaction if a ball is going to be caught. I just ripped a ball to left field and the left fielder took a step in before realizing it was going to be over his head which resulted in a surprise double for me. I've never seen a ball misplayed like that.
