Since I did the Depth Chart, I decided to do an update for the regular roster as well.

KRAKEN SHUTOUT AT HOME
November 17th, 2021

Marc-Andre Fleury, playing for his new team earned a 32 save shutout tonight. The Kraken just couldn't beat the netminder. Patrick Kane scored on the Powerplay to put the Blackhawks up 1-0 and Alex DeBrincat potted the empty netter to seal the game.

Riley Sheahan fell awkwardly into the boards after being hit by Mike Hardman and had to leave the game in the second period. No word on his status at this time.

INJURY PROMPTS CALLUP AND WAIVER CLAIM
November 18th, 2021

Donato was called up to the big club after registering 4g - 5a in 19 games with Palm Springs this season.

Seattle will be without the services of Riley Sheahan for at least three weeks as he heals from an undisclosed lower body injury. This led to the club calling up 25 year old Ryan Donato. The 6'0 195lbs forward will slot in quite well on the 4th line.

With the ranks thinning at Seattle's AHL Farm Team, the team quickly snagged up two forwards that were recently put on waivers by Anaheim. Forwards Sam Carrick (6'0 209lbs 29) and Derek Grant (6'3 204lbs 31) were picked up by Seattle and are expected to report to Palm Springs in the next few days as they join the Firebirds.

Yea, fortunately the team has stayed fairly healthy this season. We definitely don't have that much depth if people started going down. Maybe after the next draft.

AVS OUTPOWER KRAKEN
November 19th, 2021

Seattle had a slow start to the game and Colorado capitalized, jumping out to an early 2-0 lead with goals from Toews and Girard.

Eberle was able to get one back late in the second, but Jost was able to beat Grubauer early in the third to ice the game 3-1.

CAPS POUND KRAKEN IN 6-2 ROUT
November 21st, 2021

Grubauer let in 4 goals in 9 shots and was pulled early in the second period in the Kraken's 6-2 loss to the Capitals.

Seattle was facing the number one powerplay in the league and had a hard time staying out of the box. The Capitals made them pay on the score sheet going 3/5 on the man advantage with two goals from Tom Wilson (2g 1a 2ppg) and a goal from Lars Eller (1g 2a 1ppg).

Washington managed to put 42 shots on net during the game, with Chris Dreidger coming in relief and stopping 31 of them. Forward Brett Connelly left the game in the third period after a knee on knee collision with Seattle Forward Mason Appleton. Connelly seemed to take the brunt of the collision and had to be assisted as he went to the bench. Appleton stayed on the bench and eventually took a regular shift.

Rough Game vs Washington but you'll bounce back. What sliders are you using? I been messing around on NHL 19 trying to find a set I was comfortable with. Why I havent updated mine yet.
