The Alaska Warriors Reboot
ALASKA I previously did a dynasty that I quit about four months ago in April. I began to feel as if it was missing something. I wanted to start a new dynasty with the Alaska Warriors that would be more of a challenge. I was inspired by BlackjackXXI's Festivus College dynasty on YouTube where he created a college whose roster was extremely handicapped. He imposed a max of 75 for any skill on his players and imposed restrictions on recruiting, transferring players, and other aspects of the game. So, I decided to do something similar. I went through and edited my team and have come up with some house rules of my own. I really would like this dynasty to be very detail oriented and stats based, so I'll try my best to make it entertaining for everyone. I also decided to use VTCRB's rosters. They were created using the editor to make each team random. I've looked through some of them and I've liked what I've seen. None of the players on these rosters nor any of the coaches are real. This allows for a truly unique feeling for the dynasty. About Settings *Changed some sliders around year 10. They will be around page 20.

Skill: Heisman Injuries, Fatigue, Play Clock, Home Field Advantage, Ice the Kicker: ON Length: 9 minutes Speed: Normal Threshold: 47 Progression: Slowest Rules: Offsides - 91 False Start - 91 Holding - 92 Facemask - 59 OPI - 99 DPI - 98 KR/PR INT - 60 Clipping/Intentional Grounding/Roughing the Passer - 54 Roughing the Kicker - 35 AI (User/CPU): 5/5 0/45 0/40 10/90 5/35 40/30 40/40 65/90 25/25 40/60 0/40 45/50 0/100 30/50 Custom House Rules 1. Recruiting realistically: Only allowed to recruit 1 stars with a couple of 2 stars at first. 2. Over-recruiting: My team is currently made up of juniors or lower. I will only recruit a few the first year, and will only recruit for what I need. 3. Pipelines: Until I've established myself, I must prioritize pipelines heavily. If I have no interested players available, I can search other states but they must be football-producing states (like Florida, or regionally close states such as Oregon). 4. Interest: I can recruit any 1 star within my pipeline, but to recruit a 2 star I must be number one on their list the first year. Afterwards, I will become more lenient on the amount of 2-stars I recruit. 5. Scouting: I can scout no more than 25% of a player's ratings. This allows me to have a realistic look at recruits. Coaches can see some skills players possess, but don't get nearly a full view of who they've recruited until that recruit gets on campus. 6. Custom Playbooks: I will use custom playbooks. Audibles/diversity of plays will be dependent upon the player's experience and awareness. 7. Injuries, discipline, etc: I'm working on a method to include injuries and discipline in to my dynasty. I've used a random number generator method for injuries that seemed to work decently well, and I think using awareness to determine discipline would work. This will be a work in progress. 8. Play realistically. 9. Close eyes for field goals. 10. For the first few years I'll remake the coach if he gets fired. New program, nobody should be fired at first. I will not take other jobs, and if necessary, I will fire my coordinators. If I think of others I will include them here. Team Record Book:

Re: The Alaska Warriors Reboot
Year 1- Week 1 at Hawaii
Today went about as you would expect for a new program. Hawaii (83-86-82) had a great, balanced attack. Quarterback Bryan Cook threw for 255 yards and a touchdown, while 90 overall Vince Brant rushed for 183 yards. Hawaii DB Ray Pitts had three interceptions in plus territory to shut down Alaska drives. Alaska did, however, score their first ever touchdown on a Brooks Greer end around touchdown just before half. That would bring the score to within ten as Hawaii went in to half up 17-7, but Alaska wouldn't score again. Personally, I felt like the game played really nicely. The animations were good, and I really liked how the running games felt. Team tackling felt way more important, and the CPU running backs made some really nice moves to find holes. This next week they open their home against Buffalo.
