EDIT: Just figured it out. Your MAC Standings is missing Akron in the East.

Ah yes, I was wondering how long it would be until someone noticed that minor adjustment. When I was doing the HTML coding, it worked out better to list six teams in each division (even though you are correct int hat the MAC East does also contain Akron (who is not currently listed). The way I am doing it is listing the top six teams. I may go back and try to play with the coding later if I adjust some other aspects of the layout. Sorry about that fellas, hopefully it isn't too bothersome to anyone. Thank you for following!
Re: A Rising Storm in the North | Cheese's Eastern Michigan Dynasty
Updating my earlier reply, after playing around in the land of HTML for a while, I have improved upon my around the league template. Next week's will include all 13 MAC teams in the standing along with another new 'bell and whistle' I am excited for.
Thank you all for the great feedback and continuing to follow along and support this project!
Toledo sophomore WR James Green scores one of two touchdowns on the day / EMU HB Dominique Sherrer meets the defense.
Barn Burner: Toledo Comes Back Late to Claim 46-42 Conference Win
Eastern Michigan's Sherrer has career day in loss, scores five times to set school record; named NCAA player of the week | Owens and Thomas guide Toledo offense on near perfect outing | Eastern Michigan leads the entire game before surrendering go ahead score in final minute.
AP Toledo – The Eastern Michigan Eagles fell in heartbreaking fashion to MAC foe Toledo as they gave up the go ahead touchdown with under a minute remaining, falling 46-42. Senior HB Dominique Sherrer had a record breaking day, in the loss, as he ran for over 200 yards and five touchdowns. His five rushing scores set the single game school record that was previously held by several other players who had scored four. For Toledo the combined attack of QB Terrance Owens and senior star HB Adonis Thomas was too much for the Eagles defense.
Dominique Sherrer was named the NCAA offensive player of the week for his 218 yard, 5 touchdown performance in the loss.
Eastern Michigan lead for the entire game, by as much as 18 points, before Toledo would take the lead on the go ahead touchdown with just 50 seconds remaining in the game. There was little defense in this contest, as the two MAC foes combined for just over 1000 yards of offense and 88 points. The game marked the highest scoring output on the season for Eastern Michigan along with the highest points allowed.
The Eastern Michigan defense looked terrible as they struggled to keep up with the spread no huddle offense of Toledo. Players appeared tired and slowed. This resulted in multiple offside penalties as defensive lineman failed to get set before Toledo's fast paced offense was set.
"Just a devastating defeat for us today. To lead the entire way, only to lose in the final minute. This is a tough one to stomach." -- Eagles Head Coach Dan Clayton
Eastern Michigan (3-3) will have to rebound quickly as they head to Mt. Pleasant, Michigan to face rival Central Michigan (3-3). Central Michigan is lead by QB Ryan Radcliff (1449 yds, 8 TD, 11 INT) and HB Paris Cotton (391 yds, 3 TD). The rivalry matchup is also expected to be a big recruiting weekend for the Chippewas who have several prospects in attendance including three star HB Rod Barron and two star S Joey Stevenson. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 EST.

Re: Year 1 (2011), Game 6, Eastern Michigan at Toledo
I always hate losing games like that. I think you have a very underrated thread going here. Count me in, I've been a silent follower of yours in the past.
Re: A Rising Storm in the North | Cheese's Eastern Michigan Dynasty
I was going to say that the Toledo and Central Michigan games should be a bit tougher than Akron. Hopefully you can get one out of the two.
Too bad Sherrer's big day was wasted in a loss. Was Iannotti inaccurate or was it mostly drops? Even when you are running the ball well, tough to win/close out a game when those incompletions are stopping the clock.
