Re: What's good to watch on Netflix And Other Streaming Platforms

I just think it's wild that in 2023 with so many options for entertainment that so many people still end up watching the same exact shows just because they are new on HBO Max or Netflix or whatever. It's like the communal aspect of shows hasn't died quite yet, just moved more to streaming. Maybe that happens when Gen Z takes over for real lol.

The Last of Us seems fine based on reviews I've seen from people I generally like, but so much of it's popularity is word of mouth and "new thing, must watch." And it's not even that huge with gamers. I hear about it mostly from people who barely if ever play games. Gamers who played the original games over and over weren't all that interested in a TV show telling the same story.

Oh, and the game and show are excellent.
I played the first one.

From what I remember it was ok. I kinda get bored with single player story games like that. Had no interest in playing the second one.

I played the original 3 times and the second one twice.

I'm loving the show

Re: What's good to watch on Netflix And Other Streaming Platforms

New TLOU episode was great. Made a tweak in one part that separates it from the game (not the outcome, just a slight alteration to its perception) and I think the game did that one part better. Otherwise this was a fantastic episode.

I thought if they nailed these last two episodes in matching the game, everyone would rejoice. They did about a 9.5/10 here save that one moment, and here's to hoping the finale aligns with the game as much as possible.

I don’t like it and won’t watch it.

Thanks for the obvious advice.
