Ps5- Legendary slow - Fuma - Bundesliga 2 -15min halves

After about 20 games with the latest set, I can't leave the controller out of my hands!!! Great great work guys!!!
As you all mentioned the pass speed at 42 is a game changer for me also, I was playing before with a personal set with pass speed at 22. Except the good things you have mentioned with 42, the best difference for me personally is how more dangerous an creative the AI attacks combined with the higher sprint speed values,of course it has the moment's with cut backs etc. but the difference compared with 22 pass speed is huge!
The only big change l made is raising GK at 70 for both as I was seeing some goals that should be saved by the GK and my games where over 6 goals each. If Matt or the testers have any other suggestion ,maybe shot speed or error values I would appreciate it.
Other small adjustments that I made
Acc 49/51
Sprint speed for away games 40/51
Shot error home 70/80 away 70/78
Pass error home 65/74 away 65/72
Also I hire only one novice trainer for each position to keep my team players at 0 or +1.
As for injuries l am using 99/13 and it is the best combo I have had. I tested also 100 frequency with great animation's but unfortunately there are a lot of injuries in each game.

Playing 10 min half’s harder legendary FUMA with the cpu having 52 acceleration I’m still averaging 15 shots a game with the cpu having roughly 3-6 shots a game even against arsenals and stuff can any one recommend how I can make it harder and more realistic in that sense. I know ultimate would be the next step up but the game just feels way to fast on that. Thanks in advance!

Switch to Full manual controls if you haven't already,or if you are playing with assisted controls at least switch to semi controls

Thanks for the reply I am playing full manual controls just wish I found it harder as I’m sitting in second place with palace in the premier league after 25 games with no signings!

Is anyone else doing a lower league CM? I’m talking 1.5 - 2 star teams. Would be intrigued to hear your feedback on the gameplay if so.

I’m currently doing a CM in League One with Charlton. Using the latest set, Legendary/Default, 8 min halves, Semi controls. For what it’s worth, I think the current set is brilliant and the game plays as well as it has since the game released when I’m using top division sides. However, I’m really not enjoying playing with lower-rated teams.

Everything feels so slow, heavy and sluggish, even on Default pace. The players almost feel unresponsive at times. I saw someone a couple of weeks ago describe the ball feeling like “an inflated beach ball that’s half full with water”. This is probably as best as I can describe it too when using lower rated players. Even on 42 pass speed, I’m seeing CPU players changing animation to run towards (and intercept) the ball before it reaches the intended user player. I know this is down to the lower passing stats, higher pass error and first touch control etc. But I do think there is cause to reduce these values specifically for lower division teams with how it currently plays/feels.

Obviously teams in League One aren’t going to be able to play fast-paced, one touch football with little to no mistakes like Premier League teams can. But that also needs to be balanced with the game still feeling enjoyable and rewarding; at the moment I’m just not getting that. Again, with higher rated teams the game feels amazing - but when using these 64-68 rated players it almost feels like a chore to try and play. The GKs are terrible on 55 too, I’m seeing some really dreadful save animations, like shots straight at them that they dive away from, or parry straight into the air.

I know the sliders are just a baseline and it’s impossible to perfectly cater to all teams, tactics and styles of play. But I’m just wondering what I need to change to get as much enjoyment out of using lower rated teams. Maybe pass error down to 50, or 55? GKs back up to 60? Pass speed up to 45? Before anyone suggests deleting the DLC file, disconnecting from the servers etc, I have already tried all of that and it’s not the problem. Having played lots of games now with different 1.5 - 2 star teams, it’s just an issue with how the game feels when using these lower rated players.

Would be good to hear if anyone else feels the same or if it’s just me.

I've been playing exclusively FUMA (with semi cross and save assistance) for a few years now. Any variant of sliders I'd try at World Class, there is no challenge. I manage wins even with 7-0 or 8-3 (15 mins). Generally, even if I'm 3-0 down, I manage to win 4-3 or 5-3 (true, I play Atletico or OM or Arsenal in career mode, which are first rate teams). Legendary is completely unplayable and not fun. I don't know what to do to find a solution, a right spot between World Class and Legendary.
