There's an option that'll allow you to stay logged in.

I have switched from fidelity mode to performance mode and haven’t seemed to have had the crashes. It’s BS I have to, but it’s a workaround for now.

Nah that doesn’t work either. My son was playing earlier and he prefers performance mode and it still froze.

Had COD freeze and crash the PS5 tonight, was auto saving when it froze but didn't seem to effect my save when I was able to reboot the PS5 after. I played last night after the patch and had no issues so hopefully it was just a random occurrence and not the beginning of something.

I hope so. My games freeze but don’t crash. Spider-Man freezes but sometimes unfreezes. I can always go back to the Home Screen as well. COD will display the crash UI sometimes after I hit close game.

my ps5 has been perfect since launch day as I have always turned it off and not rest mode due to how fast these consoles launch from cold

but I did notice that when i left the console on for about an hour in the OS and came back and turned Demon Souls on, the game froze every 10 seconds for like 5 minutes before it settled in and was fine. That has been the only time this has happened.
