This is actually really interesting because Sony is in activision’s pocket. I wonder if that means it isn’t possible for the ps5 or if they need more time to optimize it? Regardless I am glad I got both systems.

Re: Xbox Series (X/S)

Looks like Fortnite is next to get 120fps mode on series x.

Re: Xbox Series (X/S)

Wish I had a 120fps capable TV. Probably gonna be a little while before that happens.

Keep going back and forth between which will be the first I scoop. Aunt like in finding a console at the spot I’m trying to go to but the Series looks better and more prepared for the long haul. Definitely will get the warranty if they offer one. Loving the impressions so far. Keep them coming. 👍🏾

The reason why Xbox got the update is because their back compact is superior and can just update based on raw power from their patch but for Sony it requires them to actually build the mode since Sony does not have a console that can upgrade by switching ON the mode for enhancement without the devs building the code for ps5

AM sure it will come to PS5 soon enough but is not easy as just turn the switch on with the series X

The series X is more for 120hz HDMI 2.1 tvs and monitors

The PS5 is more suited for regular 120hz tvs at 2.0 HDMI and 60hz tvs

The PS5 does not do full HDMI 2.1....It has limited bandwidth for the HDMI at 30gbs which is why when doing 120hz it does it only at 8bit unlike series X that does it at 40gb 10 bit RGB 444

Damn man, guy didn't even mention the PS5 and yet you somehow turned his simple comment about a TV into a comparison between the systems lmao.
