Glad Caleb left the SEC. The inevitable INT he would've gotten off of Milroe next season would've been torture

Re: College Football Off Top

UGA hasn’t went out in the transfer portal and signed a major star that would require a 7 figure deal. It’s smaller role type players not super stars. Which clearly OSU did with Downs and the best HB in the sec who surprisingly transferred from a top 10 school.

It’s my understanding that in general Kirby doesn’t pay the major deals to incoming freshman. Beck I’ve heard is getting paid about what a 2nd round pick will (1 million or so). When the #1 high school flipped to Nebraska the rumored # was he wanted 3 million.

The 5* S Bolden is someone I think UGA paid as he was a last minute flip. That could be political as his high school (Buford) is one that kids always go other places

Not attacking you personally, it's just hilarious that I constantly see people from every program always falling back on the excuse that they don't pay like the other school they conveniently lost a player to. Apparently UGA doesn't pay what * does, but * doesn't pay what Miami does, but Miami doesn't pay what UGA does. The logic does not check out.

The curious thing to me is that Ryan Day is an elite play caller, but questionable as a game manager, so he's taking away his best value and giving it to one of Saban's reclamation projects. Sorta like he wants to be the next Saban, and bringing in his players from the portal, too. This may very well work out for him, but it's definitely interesting to take away your playcalling duties when that's your main asset. Brian Hartline even took partial playcalling last year, like this was a slow phase, but man...

Surprised that they didn't follow Fisch, but this seemed like a possibility with how long it was taking. Also Surprised Bama was the runner up. Wonder how Deboer feels about Milroe since Bama was going after Fifita.

Glad that they both stayed at Arizona. I wonder if that leads to some guys withdrawing from the Transfer Portal. I wonder where Fisch and Washington pivots too. I think he was dead set on those two following along. I want to say almost all the scholarship QBs entered the Portal for Washington.

San Jose State hired Niumatalolo as HC.

He's also not going to run the triple option.

Smh. I was hype when I saw the name and was disappointed when I saw the next line.
