Compared to years past you guys aren't that good. Draymond is good but you're backcourt simply isn't. They're going to struggle shooting the ball all year.

I think you guys will finish in the top half if Scott comes back healthy but that's not saying too much in this weak ACC year.

Yea NCSU should be a bit improved this year now having a coach that actually knows what he's doing. If he can get maximum effort from CJ Leslie watch out.

Yeah yet to catch their 1st 2 games but hopefully will attend a few games and watch all the games that are on TV here.

Are you basing that on one game against North Carolina?

Re: 2011-12 ACC Thread

So who takes over Dook after Coach K is gone?

All of his disciples have either put their school on probation or performed poorly when they got a head coaching gig.

  • Quinn Snyder (Mizzou) - Good start but ended up resigning amidst allegations
  • Jeff Capel (Oklahoma) - Never was an assistant coach at Dook until now. Fired after the Tiny Gallon accusations at OU and ended up back at Dook
  • Tommy Amaker (Seton Hall/Michigan/Princeton) - After a sweet 16 appearance with the Pirates he never reached one at Michigan and was fired. Currently pushing the recruiting limits at Harvard
  • Mike Brey (Delaware/Notre Dame) - Notre Dame fans might disagree but he's had a decent run at a football-first school.
I'd assume that they would want one of their own to continue the program.

Thoughts?

Well I am sure Duke will continue to recruit itself, so whoever they put in should be fine.

I don't think there has ever been a player that I haven't liked on any of my favorite teams. Austin Rivers is the first. I can easily see him being hated by rival fans.
