Might need to take a look in the mirror, buddy.
I don't believe in mirrors.

Re: 2011-12 ACC Thread

Maryland C Alex Len is ineligible for the first 10 games due to the NCAA ruling but will be allowed to practice with the team.

G Pe'Shon Howard out 10-12 weeks after breaking his foot in practice last week.

I think UNC, then Duke, then FSU. After that it's a toss up but GT and Wake are the bottom 2 teams.

Miles & Mason Plumlee combined to go 2-11 from the charity stripe, at home

Looks like they are the people to hack!

GT I picked as a surprise 3rd just messing around, Rice Jr is solid, and 2 newcomers Brandon Reed and Julian Royal may surprise. I picked my VT Hokies alot lower than I think they will finish but didnt want to jinx them. Green will hopefully lead their stellar Freshmen class to a high ACC finish. Maryland with Stoglin, Mosley, Faust andHoward will be tough if someone steps up in the post. Wake Forest will surprise with McKie, Harris, Terrell and Desrosiers.
FSU will be a lot better offensively this year without Singleton. The offense was better without Singleton in the game last year. The PG position should also be better with the transfer, Kitchen wasn't really a true PG. The defense won't be as good, but we don't know how good/bad it will be.

Maryland will be way to young to succeed in the ACC this year. They will be in the bottom 3rd of the league with GT, Wake, and BC.

You are overvaluing freshman in the ACC. Those players will probably be good, but it is going to take another year before those teams are improved.

How has Rivers looked so far in the first 2 games?

Re: 2011-12 ACC Thread

I've watched some of both games.

He'll get to the FT line often. Doesn't seem like the type of player that will dominate to me (over the course of his career) because he was so much more athletic than the kids he faced in high school but guys his same size can muscle him a bit. He's aggressive. But the guys he'll be facing are just as aggressive as him. The kid he was playing on Belmont was taking it right at him.

3 pointer is decent. I just want to see him against a more bigger team.

I think he'll have a pretty high scoring average but mainly due to his aggression.

I also see him probably blowing a close game because he seems to "go for self" a little too often.

From the early going, I think he'll be best if he stays 3 years.

Re: 2011-12 ACC Thread

Rivers whines to the refs way too much. He needs to understand that as long as he wears one of the two shades of blue that makes money for the ACC, the refs will always bail him out.
