Re: NBA 2K23 - The Kobe Era Reimagined

The King made his debut and didn’t disappoint. LeBron James racked up 25 points, 7 assists, 7 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks but his Portland team came up just short, losing 96-94 to Indiana. The Blazers led for most of this game until Reggie Miller (17 points) hit back to back threes with 90 seconds left to put his guys ahead 93-90. Al Harrington (13 points) split free throws and James dished to Zach Randolph (16 points, 12 rebounds) to tie it. Jermaine O’Neal (19 points, 23 rebounds) missed a hook shot but Ron Artest (16 points) scored over James with 1.5 left. James couldn’t get a shot off in time to tie as time expired.

Re: NBA 2K23 - The Kobe Era Reimagined

The struggles continue for the Wizards, who dropped their 11th straight game 103-84. This was close for the first half but Golden State ran away with it in the second behind their three-headed monster of Antawn Jamison (23 points, 13 rebounds), Gary Payton (20 points, 7 assists), and Jason Richardson (20 points). Michael Jordan (19 points) didn’t shoot the ball well and the team looks lost out there for the most part.

Re: NBA 2K23 - The Kobe Era Reimagined

The battle between rookies Carmelo Anthony (27 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists) and Dwyane Wade (32 points, 8 assists, 5 steals) didn’t disappoint. In the end though, Wade’s corner jumper with 0.4 left gave Cleveland a hard-fought victory. They nearly gave the game away, allowing back-to-back threes to Jason Terry (25 points) and a costly late steal before Wade’s shot sealed it. He led a balanced Cleveland attack that included Zydrunas Ilgauskas (18 points, 14 rebounds) and Carlos Boozer (14 points, 10 rebounds).
