Idk how you couldn't see it as clearly better. nxt has been light years better than raw and if nothing else "steadier" than raw since HHH has gotten his hands on.

Would definitely be steadier/more consistent. No argument from me there.

Better? I don’t know. I’ve mentioned this a lot so there’s no point repeating myself more than this, but NXT has bored the hell out of me over the last 2 or 3 years. Characters are as dull and stories dragged out just as much as on the main roster. NXT is just less stupid about it.

I’d still want to see Triple H handle the main roster to shake things up, I’m just not as sure of it leading to something worth watching as I was in the past.

Re: WWE RAW & Smackdown August Thread

Judging NXT the last 1.5 years is obviously not the best thing to do since clearly they've taken a hit, probably moreso imo than Raw/SD did during the Thunderdome/PC era.

The NXT we saw pre 2020 was definitely good. Many times better than Raw/SD, and obviously Takeovers often outshined the main roster PPV counterpart that same weekend.

And that's given NXTs smaller budget, less staff, roster constantly being poached by Raw/SD. So imagine HHH running the main roster with basically unlimited resources and never worrying that people will be moved from the roster he's building.

Whose running Smackdown? Because yeah NXT has been better than Raw lately but Smackdown has been better than both of them for about a year now.
