Surprised it took 4 weeks into the year to have Regal.

Guess this was just a one off for him and he'll go back to doing his backstage role since Ava is the GM. At least we know we can count on seeing him in November (maybe sooner if they don't do wargames at SS but instead give it to NXT in the summer or something).

The Judgment Day might run Monday Night Raw, but the Bloodline runs WWE, Smackdown and now NXT.

I could see Vengeance Day being reminiscent of WM10.

Show starts with Trick/Melo winning the Dusty Cup, that's the highlight of the night for Melo.

But show ends with Trick celebrating with the locker room when he wins the NXT title, and the closing shot is just Melo watching Trick celebrating.

Booker T will be out for a while, seems like a health issue keeping him away from TV for a bit.

I wonder if someone like Regal takes over. Or does this force them to really find someone in NXT or the PC who has a good voice/personality to fill in like when WWE randomly had Jimmy on commentary for a month or so (which I thought was more recent, turns out it was 2015!).

Maybe Barrett does it since he's on Fridays now so he could step in on Tuesdays too.

Man... Trick Williams might have the biggest night of his career and his hype man won't be there to call it. I think someone here said it, but I fully think this ends like Wrestlemania X did. They might not win the Dusty Cup but Trick wins the NXT Championship while Melo comes out and just looks on from the entrance way.

I said it like 3 posts up lol

I don't see how else they continue a Trick/Ilja feud unless they swerve everyone and reveal Ilja actually did attack Trick and Melo and he goes heel.

Trick vs Melo at Stand and Deliver could be the main event, which then sends Melo to the main roster and Trick goes to the main roster maybe by the summer (and they decide by then if those two reunite like we saw from DIY, or they stay rivals).

Man, I hope Trick wins. They've been dragging out the Trick-Melo breakup for so long, Dragunov is...whatever. The main event scene just needs a shakeup.

The women's title scene needs a shakeup too because Valkyria is kind of dull as a character, but they've done a good job at having more than enough personalities there that they can swap around if needed.

The rest of the undercard is solid. Really looking forward to Dijak vs Gacy

Seems they're going for a Mickie/Trish story with Lyra/Tatum.
