What about when Arquette won the WCW Heavyweight Title?

The worst I've seen in my time watching wrestling:

-Katie Vick
-Mae Young gives birth to a hand
-John Wayne Bobbitt saves Val Venis from Kaientai
-Arquette wins WCW Heavyweight Title

Well, excuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me for bringing something real to this discussion.

Maybe the title of the thread shouldn't have been "Wrestlings worst moment ever".

Maybe it should have been "wrestlings worst gimmicks and storylines ever".

He was just playing "Mr. Exact Words"....I used to try that too, when I was 8. My mom would smack me upside the head and still make me clean my room even when I promised her the government had designated my bedroom a "Clean Room".

Re: "Wrestlings worst moment ever"

Someone mentioned Katie Vick UGH. That was pretty bad but how bout something else that was pretty bad in taste and in performance. The lead up to the whole McMahons vs. Michaels/God thing. I remember watching a segment with Vince and Shane in church and Vince is ranting and raving with terribly offensive dialogue. You could see Shane wasn't really comfortable with it and even though a good portion of wrestling fans aren't particularly religious I bet it gave bad vibes to them.

BTW I wasn't watching much wrestling then so what exactly happened with that angle?

The Katie Vick angle? Or Michaels vs McMahons?

In the Katie Vick angle, Triple H was feuding with Kane, as he supposedly knew something horrible from Kane's past. Eventually he brings up that Kane killed Katie Vick, and later Kane explains his side of the story. Then there was that horrible sketch that Trips did as Kane, with Trips explaining what "really happened", after which the storyline abruptly ended.

I can't remember exactly what happened in Michaels vs McMahons, but I'd guess it had something to do with HBK being a born-again Christian and wanting a title shot, and Vince not giving it to him and making his life a living hell. I was fairly uncomfortable with it, but I did laugh hysterically at God's "entrance" at the pay-per-view (Backlash?).

Thanks, I should've been more clear. I was referring to this angle. I saw the Katie Vick stuff in all it's "glory".
