2011 was still my fave year of him ever, that was just gold, but he can still deliver in 2023.

Random thing, but I don't get why they keep saying "almost 2 years".

That's the thing, it does feel like Orton has been out for that long. Yet as you said, it's only been a year and a half but it feels like it's been longer.

It's definitely felt way longer (to think, when he was last here, Edge was leading the Judgment Day, Dom and Rey were still a team, Sami barely had anything to do with the Bloodline). But you know WWE just likes exaggerating things to make it seem like more time has passed.

Orton better not be here and CM Punk actually shows up, because why set yourself up for what could be a negative crowd reaction because you're now teasing one of the participants in Wargames not being in the match (and possibly having to be replaced)?

Could've just had Orton show up like advertised and it's all fine, but now you're putting false hope in some people's mind which doesn't do anyone any favours.

If it happened at Crown Jewel, or on SD a few weeks back or anything, that's fine, but you know what you're setting yourself up for in Chicago.

Rollins vs Finn to start and still no Orton. That pop when he comes out to save the faces is going to be huge. Plus with him coming off a back injury, it makes sense to limit Orton in this type of match as he comes back.
