I've had $70 set aside for this game for a long time. Can't wait.

Re: EA Sports College Football 25 Full Reveal Coming in May

I'm guessing May would be around the time the game goes Gold. I've grown to like the reveal being within 2 months of release. I'd rather see info consistently dropping until release rather than info being scattered out around a 4 month plan

As someone who can't get into Madden, I'm fully prepared to buy this. There would have to be a full letdown for me not to buy this day 1.

I do wonder if it will still be Current gen only like the reports have suggested. I thought this would be the year where we see more games move away from last gen. I'm almost surprised they want to try to capitalize on sales and release it on the last gen for the first year. But, if EA CFB goes current gen only, I see Madden following the same route

I sure hope so. It's about time we see games actually move on from these old consoles. It's holding games back. From what The Show has shown (which wasn't much) they're still releasing for old gen and the graphics show it. Very frustrating.

Hopefully they've got Kane on the equipment team. Dude is a beast for Madden uniforms.

I have the same feeling. I don't want the difference between generations to just be visual improvements and exclusive features. It was frustrating to see that The Show was still cross gen. I just like the idea of the first half of a console generation being cross gen, where we don't see a big enough difference. Then we get about 2 years on current gen consoles before we hear "reached the hardware capacity" before they start focusing on the next generation.

It's realistic to expect them to reach the hardware capacity. If they render all the 134 stadiums and uniforms and all that comes with it, that will take up a ton of game space. I'd just rather seeing the current gen consoles reach their full potential mid way through the generation, so that they can build off it for a few years before the transition to next. Let's say we get 5 full years of CFB on the current generation, I want all those years to be on current gen only so by time we get to year 3, the game should reach near full potential, where they could just add to it for the final 2 years
