I agree that what Blzr shared in that photo looks bad, but I’ll say that last summer my son and I went to Baltimore and Philly and I didn’t even notice them. It must be the angle/how it’s set up.

I think one of the big factors that gets ignored is spin rate. Velocity clearly causes issues, but once teams started measuring spin rate pitchers began gripping the ball harder to generate that...
