It's very likely the premium currency for ultimate team, just as MUT points are in Madden. I don't think they have any use outside of that mode (hence the name)

It was stuck in the 5th for about 3 hours thanks to the pirates wildness + a 2 hour plus rain delay. Then the Cubs got another 2 runs when the game resumed, but the pirates got 3 on a grandal homer...
