Re: 2019-20 English Football Thread

Am I dumb enough to predict Norwich grabbing at least a point from Liverpool?

Nah, but I do have some other possibly ridiculous predictions.

Arsenal will not have the worst defense (goals conceded) of the “big six” clubs.

OGS will be sacked before January 1.

Two of the three promoted sides will not be relegated.

Man City win the title by 7+ points and have the best defensive record.

Leicester finish in sixth.

Burnley will finally be relegated.

I’m tempted to say Norwich, Villa, and Sheffield will all stay up...but I can’t just yet. I mean, I already made other silly predictions, but not ready for that one.

Norwich has a rough start to their Premier League return for sure. That’s gonna be at least 3-0.

I'm up early than I needed to be, so I'm going to do at least one prediction for every team. Why not?

Arsenal will finish in 4th, and will not have the worst defense (goals conceded) of the “big six” clubs.

Aston Villa will not be relegated and will finish no lower than 15th.

Bournemouth will face a serious relegation battle and will not be safe until the final few weeks of the season.

Brighton will not face what could be considered a serious relegation battle—they'll always be floating in the safe territory.

Burnley will be relegated.

Chelsea will finish 7th.

Crystal Palace will finish lower than last year (12th).

Everton will finish above Wolves.

Leicester will finish in 6th.

Liverpool will finish 2nd, no more than 10 points ahead of 3rd.

Man City win the title by 7+ points and have the best defensive record.

Man United will sack OGS will sack before January 1.

Newcastle will be relegated.

Norwich City will not be relegated.

Sheffield United be relegated.

Southampton will win at least two games against the "big six" clubs.

Tottenham will finish 3rd.

Watford will again finish 11th.

West Ham will once again finish 10th.

Wolves will win at least four games against the "big six" clubs.

Some of those might be meh, some might be stupid. After writing the Leicester one again, I wanted to take it back but I already put it out there—oh well.

Full table prediction? Not doing that, but here's some of it.

1. Man City
2. Liverpool
3. Spurs
4. Arsenal
5. Man United
6. Leicester City
7. Chelsea
8. Everton
9. Wolves
10. West Ham
- -
18. Newcastle
19. Sheffield United
20. Burnley

If Sheffield United go down, I can only hope it's with their centrebacks in the box.
