2) Yes, what Pepe did was deserving of the red card. He fully knew where he put his hand and pushed Muller on the face (it wasn't a slap and definitely wasn't an elbow but he fully knew what he was doing not worth a red by itself). But then he went back over to Muller and instigated, and if what Pardew did was that bad, what Pepe did was that bad.

Pepe is also very well known as an instigator and I'm quite sure his reputation preceeds him. He's an ***. Everybody knows he's an ***. Get him off the pitch.

3) Germany are not even in top gear, Portugal are bad.
That's the bad part. This isn't Germany's best line up IMHO, plus they are little vulnerable down the left side with Ozil trying to defend and Ronaldo could and should be eating the BFG's lunch with his pace. The fact that Portugal is 4th in the world is a damn joke.

Looks like the Portuguese fans will be sporting their backup Brazilian flags sooner rather than later in Toronto.

Uh, he didn't get called for a foul on the initial contact (if you can call it that). The German player exaggerated and pretended like he got hit in the face, but the ref smartly didn't buy it. There wasn't a whistle until the "headbutt."
