Today I realized he is still only 25 years old and is arguably the best center back in the system. CCV is much more athletic than other CBs coaches always throw back their and he's much better building play out of the back. His footwork and passing ability is better than anyone else we have on the back line currently. CCV's made the Scottish Best XI for the past two seasons and will likely make it a third.

Hoping someone can educate me.
For 30 years, at least, the organization has clearly been nepotistic, incestuous, and immature.

Aside from the comedy of errors at the top, which are bad enough...few players are ever really held accountable for their performances or effort.

But, yes, the omission of CCV is silliness.

Don't want to wait until 2038 or 2042 for that sweet Saudi cash!

I'm mildly interested in how it's going to be rationalized for the Saudis to stay in the AFC while their clubs are allowed to play in the Champions League (because we all know that's coming at some point).

I appreciate them wanting to do a match in Uruguay for the 100th anniversary, but the fact that the tournament is going to be in 6 different countries seems dumb as hell.

I get that certain countries will likely never get a WC because of politics, money, etc, and that sucks, but this makes it to where none of these countries will be spotlighted the way a host country should be.

Hmm…

As odd as the Qatar WC was, the one good thing for fans was that all the matches were relatively close by making travel easy.

Yeah GL with that now.

Pulisic is very much in form, it seems.

Grggg could be worse... but I really want to see this squad with someone else. Hopefully I'm proven wrong.

They destroyed Ghana. I didn't watch the game and don't really care about friendlies but Ghana played a strong squad.

Pulisic is out of his mind right now. He would arguably have more goals if not being called for offsides so often. He's voracious.

What a difference a legit #9 makes for this squad...haven't had one since McBride...

Balogun makes Weah more dangerous, and the turn and finish on the goal was something we don't see in USA strikers very often.

That front 3...or 4 with Reyna...can give any international backline fits...they are quick and clever.

Hopefully the Defense can keep them in games.
