I think that is obvious. Maybe this will convince AW to splash a little cash for a proven CM. The midfield was rubbish today...

No, he'll continue to save transfer money for mediocre talent like Hleb

For a team with as large a fanbase and resources as Arsenal, its pathetic how passive they are in the transfer market. I definitely agreed with letting Henry go, but they really haven't made a move to get a player of that caliber back.

It's getting tiring honestly. Arsenal is already in a big hole with this loss.

YES! Amazing performance by the Cottagers. If Fulham played with that sort of passion and intensity every week I'd be more than happy.

The Gunners will bounce back.

I agree though I'd like to see Dempsey playing over Ki-Hyeon. I mean, Ki-Hyeon would be a good player if the point of an attacker would be to pass backwards and blindly fire crosses into the torso of the opposing defenders.

INDEED.

I missed the 2nd half but was it more of the same?

They couldn't really muster an attack from the middle in the 1st half.

Yeah, and it's not good for the U.S. nats to have Dempsey riding pine. Plus, Dempsey needs time to settle into games. I don't feel like he is a "super sub."

For the most part, yes. The desperately need Fabregas' distribution in the middle. They just didn't look good today, period. Hopefully just one of those games, but they weren't exactly convincing against West Brom either...

When Eboue drove towards the box and drew that free kick, the defenders should have known he was only going to fire off a weak shot five billion feet off-target and not fouled him. Luckily for them RVP played the free kick off the wall, which he did with practically every other chance.
