Why is everyone so joyous about this? They lost a regular season game that could turn out to be meaningless.

I understand nobody enjoys watching a team dominate a league for an extended period of time. But to get this overzealous because of a loss in week 15, well it's proposturous.

I'm only excited because my team has Homefield Advantage resting on this.

Otherwise this would be "just another upset"... and there's normally one upset per week at least in the NFL.

In case you didn't know, it's a Patriots HATERS club. That means we hate on them and when they lose it's a reason to celebrate. And, meaningless? Tell Pittsburgh fans that. HFA can be key in the playoffs.

Homefield means EVERYTHING when the Steelers and the Patriots are concerned.

I believed that Pitt was going to get HFA anyways so it didn't really matter to me. They deserve it.

Remember last time Pitt had HFA in the playoffs? It's not everything and doesn't always determine who goes to the Super Bowl.

Sports Guy wrote a journal for this game. He is so cocky up until the end so its pretty funny.

"With four minutes remaining, it's 28-17. Only one question remains: Can the Pats cover?"

Sounds kind of like Asianflow...

This isn't a serious thread, so don't take it that way.

Anyway,

WOOOHOOO!

Jets will make it 2 in a row next week

And the Patriots will make it 2 in a row in February. Then 3 in a row in 2005. Get my drift?

This isn't a serious thread, though, so don't jump on me for saying what I just did because I'm just joking.
