Week 18 Discussion Thread

Sorry for the late creation, folks.

Anyway, there’s 2 games on tonight and the remainder on tomorrow.

Packers win and they’re in the playoffs in Jordan Love’s 1st year as a starter.

Texans going to the postseason in Year 1 of a new coach and a new franchise QB.

You love to see it.

Re: Week 18 Discussion Thread

Couple of quick points....

1-Don't know what the future holds for Mason, but as far as I'm concerned (if he resigns with Pittsburgh) he is the starter going in to next year, no and if's, or buts.

2-The Steelers should NOT be in this position of needing help to get in...when Pickett went down in the Cardinal game, Trubisky came in and did absolutely nothing...then the following week against N.E, same thing Trubisky didn't do crap..and if that wasn't enough seeing Trubisky can't and didn't do crap, Tomlin starts him yet AGAIN against the Colts...same result, only putting Rudolph in with a little over 2 min left in the game.

3-At times I was asking myself if Canada had returned to calling plays...there were definitely some "Canada moments" today...lol...for the love of God, take all those damn jet sweep plays out of the playbook.

I also believe there is no way in hell Pickett makes that throw to Johnson for the TD, that throw needed some zing on it and Mason was able to deliver.

4- TJ Watt IS the DPOTY!! ...IMO, If the Steelers somehow get in the playoffs,it has been said that he should be good to go.

That's one way to respond to a FG.

Man, 60 yards in the air, got his man in stride.

Kid is a baller.

Good win, need some help. Man I hope Watt didn't do major damage to his knee. Thought Rudolph played well enough even with the fumbles.

Re: Week 18 Discussion Thread

Just a quick update in regards to Watt..

https://www.yahoo.com/sports/steeler...234200049.html

Quote:
ESPN's Adam Schefter said the initial diagnosis was a sprained MCL for Watt, and that he wanted to go back in the game but the Steelers staff wouldn't allow it. It's a Grade 3 sprain, a severe sprain that could keep Watt out multiple weeks, according to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport.
The bold is definitely not good if they do get into the playoffs
