We will be in trouble if behind in any game really, purdy hadn’t won a game from behind yet in a “Brady style play crap but be a hero at the end “

Kyle’s record being behind is dreadful just gonna have to get in front every be to win it. I’d be very worried about being down 10-0 early against the cowboys or something.

Not counting the NFCCG for the obvious reason, we’ve only lost four games Purdy started. Purdy would have a comeback win if Moody had done his job against the Browns. Purdy did his part to give Moody a chance.

NBC commercial: And for the first time ever, an NFL playoff game exclusively on Peacock!

As though that’s a good thing.

Re: Week 18 Discussion Thread

Very disappointed in Fields today. Not sure exactly why I expected more, but I felt like he was going to try and have a bigger stamp on today's game regardless of outcome. The better game outcome happened for the Bears today but I almost feel like the loss was more of a step back and clouded any decision going forward. Going to be a very interesting offseason.

That just seems like such a stupid thing to do.

Making a PLAYOFF GAME a streaming exclusive thing? No playoff game should ever be on something other than a national broadcast.

As Steelerfan mentioned earlier...the curse is real...lol

Steelers troll Jaguars for messing with Terrible Towel
Quote:
The Titans found out in 2008. Fifteen years later, the Jaguars learned not to mess with the Terrible Towel.

In Week 8, the Jaguars beat the Steelers in Pittsburgh. The win moved Jacksonville to 6-2. The Jaguars celebrated by waving Terrible Towels.

Since then, the Jaguars have lost six of nine and will miss the playoffs. Their loss to (who else?) the Titans opened the door for the Steelers to make the playoffs.

"When will yinz learn?" the Steelers posted on X after the Jaguars lost, reposting Jacksonville's post with video of the Terrible Towel being waved by Jaguars players.

In 2008, the Titans beat the Steelers late in the regular season to win the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Multiple Titans players desecrated the Terrible Towel. The Titans lost in the divisional round to the Baltimore; the Steelers won the Super Bowl.

In 2005, Bengals receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh wiped his cleats with a Terrible Towel after the Bengals seemingly delivered the death blow to the Steelers late in the regular season. The Steelers rebounded, beat the Bengals in the wild-card round of the playoffs, and won the Super Bowl.
