McCarthy has no idea how to manage time. What a let down. What should have been a nice win. Instead they look like buffoons.. Dan Campbell is 1000 times better than fat Mike..

Re: Week 17 Discussion Thread

I think the NFL is rigged to a degree. The officiating is just too suspect. I know how that sounds. But man it's painful watching NFL officiating. They can't be that bad.

With the big sports gambling push in America, the leagues are going to have to clean this stuff up or risk something major happening (congressional involvement, threats, etc.).

The league is a mess right now. Dominated by flags and inconsistent officiating. It's not good when I'm waiting for a flag after a big play happens.

Man, there was no tripping whatsoever. If anything, Hutch kicks his leg out.

Horrible crew all around today.

Both offenses could’ve and should’ve put up much more.

Ending was wild, too.

Re: Week 17 Discussion Thread

that's a bummer, I would've just kicked the PAT after the first penalty

BUT, this is Dan Gamble and we live and die with it, much better than the previous... eternity of Lions football lol

Re: Week 17 Discussion Thread

I don't know that I've ever seen a season where so many possibly game-deciding plays were called back on formation penalties. At least when it happened for and against us, the penalty was completely obvious. Here it comes down to whether the ref heard a guy or not. Unreal.
