Once again though up 24-3 and our great offensives minded coach decides we need to throw it around and not run the ball inviting the other team back.. hmm I have seen this before yeah the super bowl and championship games!

Second straight win in Seattle and a two-game lead in the division. Not bad for a bunch of “pretenders.”

I must be missing something, because I have not heard anyone holding a reasonable command of facts and reality handicap the 49ers as anything worse than the second-best team in the NFC and third-best team in the NFL overall this season.

Seattle has a really tough stretch in front of them to start the next month: Dallas, San Francisco again, and Philadelphia over the next three weeks. They're gonna have to turn things around quickly if they want to have football to play in January.

There's a certain 49ers fan here who loves to disparage the team when things aren't going well. But, like you said, anyone reasonable realizes they're a contender.
