Really sucks because Embiid was doing well. I could care less about this game one. If he's out for any other game, I don't think Sixers have a chance.

That was his first dunk since coming back from injury. Felt like it was a ticking time bomb. Hopefully it was just the shock of coming down with all his weight

Joel needs to start wearing the bulkier, heavy knee brace under his compression sleeve. Wearing one probably extended Timmy Duncan's career by 3 to 5 years.

Problem is that Embiid always hated wearing the brace. Most cases in the past, he would've already ripped it off by now. He has to embrace it. He doesn't trust his knee yet. He just has to find a bulkier one that doesn't limit mobility

True, but they are meant to limit full range of motion to protect the knee from bending completely. If that makes sense.

I think with all his knee issues that a knee brace (or two) is inevitable.

He's also gotta stay low to the ground and play a below - the - rim game like Timmy did. We see how his presence (even when not at 100%) and impact can easily change a game.

Funny that I'm mentioning how Embiid needs to play more like Tim Duncan, when Maxey is the player that most reminds me of Tony Parker.

He doesn't have Tony's level of otherworldly end-to-end speed and quickness, but he has a much better jumper with more range.

Maxey has improved his shot, especially off the stepback. But, he's down hill to the basket, can't many people stay with him and he can finish
