Shohei Ohtani done for the season. Placed on IL due to oblique strain.

Jays actually won again, though it took 4 hours and 13 innings to beat the Red Sox.

Surprised Dansby didn’t lay out to catch that ricochet off the pitcher in the 13th. He catches it games over…looked like he had a chance.

Re: 9/11 - 10/1 Game Discussion Thread

Jays back in a playoff spot for now.

They actually control their own fate despite everything being so close.

Mariners,Rangers,Astros play against each other a bunch, so Jays need to just win at least half their remaining games and they're probably in.

Easier said than done when you play your own division (which they've been historically bad against this year) to end the season.

Re: 9/11 - 10/1 Game Discussion Thread

Varsho almost hit a ball out out of the Rogers Centre! Hit it backwards halfway up the 500 level.

Next pitch, hits it straight and gets a HR.

Jays get the walkoff win after blowing it with 2 strikes, 2 outs in the top of the 9th.

Now back into the 2nd WC spot.
