#2 Kentucky bounces back with a win against the Oregon St. Beavers, winning 88-70 and improving their record to 9-2. Kentucky had 35 rebounds compared to Oregon St. having 19. Kentucky shot 57% from the field and 9-18 from 3. Oregon St. only made one 3 the entire game.

Player of the game was JR C John Gentry with 24 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 blocks
FR SF Mike Cunningham added 15 points(3-5 from 3), and 3 rebounds
SR PG Henry Strong added 11 points(3-4 from 3), and 3 rebounds
SR SG Jason Winter led in assists with 7
JR PF Tyson Braun led the bench with 9 points and 2 blocks
Next game is at Kansas (4-5), Kentucky is an 8 point favorite

#3 Kentucky defeats Kansas in a low scoring game, 64-52. Kentucky improves their record to 10-2.
Ugly game, neither team played great offense. Kentucky was 36.6% from the field. Kansas was 33.9% from the field.

Player of the game was FR C Darrel Deren with 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists.
FR SG Chris Abel led the bench with 10 points and 2 assists
JR C John Gentry added 5 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 blocks


Next game is at home against the VCU Rams(7-3), Kentucky is a 7.5 point favorite.

Four out of the five incoming recruits that I have for next season are guys who have attitude and discipline problems, and I am a hardcore disciplinarian coach. Next year should be interesting.

#3 Kentucky trounces the VCU Rams at home, 84-59 and improves record to 11-2. Turnovers were a big difference. Kentucky had 11 turnovers while VCU had 25! VCU actually had a better FG% shooting 44.4% compared to Kentucky's 43.7% but due to turnovers Kentucky was able to take 71 field goals compared to VCU taking only 45. Kentucky 31/71(12/24 from 3), VCU 20/45(3/10 from 3)

Player of the game was JR C John Gentry with 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 steals. He only played 22 minutes do to foul trouble
FR SF Mike Cunningham added 16 points(4/6 from 3), 4 rebounds, and 3 blocks
FR PF Darrell Deren added 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists
SR SG Jason Winter had a great all around game with 10 points, 6 assists, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals.
FR SG Chris Abel led the bench with 6 points, 2 assists, and 2 steals


Next game starts conference play at Auburn(6-5), Kentucky is an 8 point favorite.

Player of the game was SR SG Jason Winter with 11 points, 7 assists, and 2 steals.
Big game for Kentucky's bench with 3 players in double figures in scoring, JR PF Tyson Braun had 11 points as did FR SG Isaac Greenberg, FR SG Cole Belton finished with 10 points.

Next game is at home against the Missouri Tigers(8-4), Kentucky is an 8.5 point favorite.
