At first i didn't see the point to it either, and somewhat still don't, but if you follow the right people it gets interesting, like Shaq, Mark Cuban, Jim Gaffigan, Michael Ian Black.

I created one on election day this year, but then set it aside.

I got the idea of following some famous people from a different thread here on OS. Some people have some hilarious/interesting "tweets." Rainn Wilson (Dwight Schrute), Pete Carrol, Jimmy Fallon, Mark M. from SickAnimation.com, Stephen Jackson, etc.

I still haven't updated my status or whatever since the first day, though. And, unless a bunch of people start to follow me (which they wont), I wont update again.
