Yep; it is called "The pro control."

IMO, the first prerequisite for a title like that for any sports game includes the ability to take control of CPU teams, and edit and a change their gameplay strategy in both season and franchise. FIFA 09 finally got around to offering that very limited form of that option. But it sounds like 2K10 is taking it to a whole new level.

Two questions if ya don't mind Scott. When you say the deking is just like EA's, are you able to do more than just east/west movement? Can you drag the puck back and do a toe drag or the like with out doing a canned combo? And the other question when it comes to puck physics do goaltenders still automatically suction pucks up like in the videos shown so far? Is there a slider to tweak that aspect? Thanks.
You probably wont like the deking this year. It takes some getting used too. I like it because the good dekers shine and not so good dekers don't! I just go slide to slide, but you might be able to do more. The suction part I didn't really notice; it could be the same. I was just too busy trying to get good shots on goals to notice. Maybe you can ask WAZ, he has the game. They have number 17 face dead on though from your team.

In this game it works very well. At the end of the game I had 70% they had 65%. It was sweet. There were missed passes missed shots. You name it; it had it!

Won't bother me because I don't use deke moves. I play video hockey the same way I used to play real hockey: skate, skate, skate, fall down, skate, skate, get knocked over, skate, skate, skate, pass/shoot the puck, skate, skate...
