Machida and Glover could make a decent argument that they deserve a shot before DC. We still dont even know if DC can make the 205 cut. With that said I'm only interested in the DC fight at this moment.

I would absolutely love to see that fight. You'd just have two dudes standing there, banging it out for 3 rounds. I'd be disappointed if we got that fight and White didn't say "**** it, 5 rounds".

I'm biased though. Nelson is tied as my favorite fighter (Leben is the other).

All logical and understood. But I thought it was kind of "known" (probably not the best way to put it) that if DC won his next fight, he'd be getting a shot.

Nelson and Hunt would be an awful second and third round when both guys would be gassed as ****.

What's hurtin Werdum is that one, Cain and JdS have created a trilogy of fights. And two, JdS beat Fabricio like a drum. They need a rematch.

That was five years ago though and Werdum's standup has improved immensely since then. Well, with the exception if the Overrem fight, where he looked like a chicken ****. He has three impressive UFC fights in a row though and is 6-1 since he lost to JDS. Personally, I would rather see him get the winner of Cain/JDS over Cormier (if DC was going to stay at HW and was ok with fighting Cain).

JDS was brought in to be a stepping stone for Werdum to get the next title shot too. He was a giant underdog in that fight. Nobody expected JDS to uppercut Werdum's head off.
