Re: MLB The Show 22 Patch #3 Arrives Later This Morning - Patch Notes

Big update this morning with a lot of patch notes and not a word about custom leagues difficulties not being able to be changed. Disheartening to say the least. I hope this is not what we are stuck with all year. We need the slider gurus to get going to find a slider set that will mimic the difficulty we want to play at.....If we max out the pitch speed is it close to HOF or legend? If we lower human contact will it make the PCI smaller? Things like this are what we are going to have to do to make this mode playable.

SDS advertised Nike catchers equipment in trailers and it was in the tech test. This needs to get resolved.
Starting to think we’re not getting it.

Very happy to see the freeze issues addressed.

Also commentary and presentation fixes across all modes...very nice.

Absolutely no gameplay changes.......best part of all of this. Don’t touch it.

So....I really hope all the equipment that was removed is added back in soon. I am scratching my head on this massive purge of equipment this cycle. I was playing MLB 20 last night and it is such a noticeable thing.

I am really wondering what happened. Did this have anything to do with the lockout? The new CBA? Something between MLB, MLBPA and SDS? The silence is odd. Just trying to understand what happened with all the great authentic equipment we lost.

Tell me they are not putting a lot of this behind a pay wall now.....that would be a very very bad look. I mean bad.

Nothing about the Ohtani rule so I’m guessing we still can’t use him as DH and SP in the same game - sigh

Idk...its just weird that there are still so many items listed on the marketplace. I still think we get it, but definitely a bummer that there wasnt much equipment added in the patch

Everything else is awesome though.

Given the drip, drip of unis I am beginning to think more and more this has to do with lockout and just getting contracts renewed. If that is the case, they are at the mercy of the manufacturers to get in their paperwork.

Rawlings red gloves are back.

Sounds like a good patch that fixed a lot of issues. I quit submitting bug reports for longstanding problems in manage mode because I reached the conclusion it's a waste of time. Most are relatively minor things and I just live with them and enjoy the game.
