PS4 Discussion (MLB The Show 14)

- Deadline buyers/sellers

- Player personalities (Bautista, Ortiz going ape, maybe on a phone, every now and then over a "blown" call at the plate)

- Teams making realistic offseason moves. If Robinsin Cano is an unrestricted free agent, the bidding war should be between the Yankees, Red Sox, Angels, Dodgers, etc. I don't want the Padres signing him. As of now trades/free agent deals are just random.

- Some type of trade deadline coverage

- Expanded all-star rosters, and ones not full of closers

- Recurring injuries

I would like an expanded version of RTTS where you start out trying out for scouts from all or most of the teams, then seeing the draft results play out until your guy is drafted. Then if they add single A into the game you would start there instead of double A. During the tryouts you would be tested in all phases of the game (hitting, fielding, throwing, baserunning, etc) and how you do determines what round you get drafted in.

Also I would love the ability to move franchises, create expansion franchises, create a stadium, and pretty much most of what has already been mentioned.

The 2 things I would like to see (not limited to these 2 though)

A. Create a Stadium- I live in Chicago but love to use teams like Oakland, T.Bay and Toronto but HATE their stadiums! And the minor league stadiums in the game are just horrible!


B.Player pictures! I understand players get traded and all but why can't they figure out a way to put the player on their new teams w/out having a generic picture? I'd rather have their REAL picture up w/ their old teams hat on than a generic picture!

just some quick thoughts

Pitcher vs RH batter and vs LH batter attributes like the hitters have
be able to update roster in franchise/season
sportscast manager - better and faster
Rain outs/Double headers
Generated players in franchise seem like they are all the same and very rarely see someone over 90 in one attribute

Deeper franchise

Single A team
position change feature that will alter defensive attribute

All I want for MLB 14 the show is

- Fixed CPU Trade Logic in Franchise Mode
- Proper Progression/Regression In Franchise

SECA could ship the exact same game as this year with fixes and I would buy it. Those are the only two things preventing The Show from being perfect.

Agreed..MLB 13 is a great game but the Rock said it best....
