Are you using custom rosters? Have read in the roster forum that this has happened (pre update 7).

I had 2 of Lucas Giolito and he was a batter in the lineup as a pitcher. There was a DH in the lineup. The catcher was not in the lineup. I tried auto fix and it corrected the issue.

Are we ever going to get commentary that talks about the previous at bats? So disappointed with the broadcast. Just an incredible amount of repeat and rehashed lines.

I advanced multiple days, hoping he'd fall off and I could resign him to the Orioles. No luck - he remains on the roster listed as a free agent.

This happened to me a few days ago. I ended up setting him to all zeros in attributes so I could continue. Not the best. But at least I was able to keep my franchise going. My hope is that he will be released after the season by all teams that have him.

Also, I have a post in the bugs about this.
