Re: How do you plan to play 24?

I’ll play a full franchise. Every pitch every game as well. Hopefully I can stick with one team this year.

I also will probably dabble in DD. Usually conquest games only.

Will also probably play the Negro League feature again this year.

I can’t see myself touching Derek Jeters storyat all.

Franchise mode is always my bread and butter. Though I also take pride in getting all the achievements in MLB the Show games, so I have to touch all modes to do that.

You know, I’ve never thought about play one sim one(I have no idea why). But that is interesting. You get to play half the games and are able to keep the pulse of the team much better than 1/5. I may have to give that a shot.

I would like to see them add where you can set your season length in franchise like you can in NBA2k. And you use to be able to in season mode. Personally, I’d rather have that than moments.

Re: How do you plan to play 24?

Last season I did 30 team control, every team, every pitch.

Hitting for both teams only. I am not a pitching guy. Jumping in for bullpen moves when needed.

Made it to April 28th… and stopped playing only a week or so ago.

It was NOT conducive to keeping up with your team (I had to get through 14 other games before circling back to my team).

But having 25 games or so of pure user stats for the whole league was awesome.

I do really want to get further into the season this year but I cannot stand mixing the sim stats with the user stats.

I’m considering playing several series (maybe five), get through them, sim the rest, then play another five series’ with different teams, sim the rest….

That should get me about 33% user stats with the rest simmed but may get me to June or so…. lol.

Those of you who are playing all 162, kudos to you, there’s just no way I could get more than one season in doing thar. I’ll be doing the play 1, sim 5 with dropping into close games while simming.

Full franchise rebuild for me. Haven't exactly decided which team I will "save," but I do have it narrowed down to a few.

I do 30 team control and play every game. With one exception, since I'm doing a multi season rebuild, I will quick manage the final month of the season if I am eliminated from the playoffs. I got 3 full seasons with '23 and it ended with me failing to get Milwaukee their first chip. Their fans are happy to see me go.
