Outside of that, very little has stood out to me, except that a vague feeling that the game is more varied and more organic at Legend.
From what I remember, going to say Legend hitting from a lower level will affect the following (this is from a while back but this is how I remember it).
  • Smaller Human Hitter PCI
  • CPU Will hit the Black (edges of strike zone) with higher frequency and consistency
  • Higher Pitch Speeds by default (Still adjustable by slider)
  • Smaller/Tighter Timing Window
  • CPU Pitcher Consistency Higher (Less large misses, so fewer meatballs, Wild Pitches, HBP's etc)
  • And I believe there was some impact to lessening the negative affects of pitcher confidence, but I'm really unsure on that one.

I may have missed some things or it could've changed but this does track with my personal experience with the game.

I passed the all-star break

Four of the team's hitters are on the injured list

60 days for 2

The two of them will be back soon

The pirates' depth is hard to hold on to

But that's the fun of baseball
Purely anecdotal, I'm getting good results with in game injury at 8 and sim injury at 6.

I've been playing on legend lately to test it out and all of this seems 100% true. It is very difficult to get hits with low rated hitters. And CPU pitchers are able to avoid the meat part of the plate with regularity. And also, CPU pitchers pitch outside of the strike zone quite a bit and test your patience.

This is the first year I've played on Legend (was HOF for past several years), and I'm loving it. The challenge is there but I don't feel cheated and it's not overwhelming.

I'm struggling big time on legend with classic pitching directional hitting lol

I'm playing Legend Pitching, I rotate through all the pitching interfaces each game. Yeah if you hang one lookout. It seems like the punishment for pitcher confidence is way more severe on Legend.

I hit with Zone, it's a challenge for me at least, on Legend for sure.

Legend pitching feels really good, hitting has been a struggle for me as well. Recently however I bumped up pitch speeds to 6 and it made a huge difference. I was always super early on breaking balls and chasing, but now it seems a lot easier. So for anyone having the same issues I'd recommend giving that a try. I might even consider going to 7 after some more games.

Was about to actually ask about this, with only one listed on the OP.

Seen enough of your posts over the years to trust what you've seen lol. So gonna roll with this.

Thanks man.
