Remember on the other forum how I mentioned that I had to raise the User Pitcher Control from zero to like 3 or 4. The CPU hits a lot better when you make all the pitches. Another aspect is that if you fall behind in the count then you will find yourself in deep sh*t with the CPU with the contact at 7 or 8.Sometimes the CPU hits so well it can be frustrating. In the late innings it is almost guaranteed they will make some type of rally.

If you remember I also raised the starter stamina for both sides up to like 9 as well. If the CPU has higher contact then you are going to need more pitches to get them out. Having the stamina that high doesn't really give you much of an advantage. You WILL have to waste pitches in order to set up the CPU batter.

You absolutely cannot consistently fall behind in the count with the CPU contact that high. When you try to come back into strike zone it is all over for you.

Awesome can’t wait to try the new changes to sliders. I think one of the things that made hitting go. Nuts was win when it was windy in. The guys just went crazy blooping everywhere I think wind actually plays a factor this year.

I’ve noticed injury messages be different too but the Salome types.

One question for the thread.

If I go with the Mets what do I do with Diaz. I want to be as realistic as possible so If he is out for the year I don't want to use him.

I am thinking of just sending him to the minors and then signing Trevor Rosenthal off the free agent list. If Diaz comes back early I can just call him back up.

Guys like Lux Hoskins Diaz that are gone for the year I move to class A and remove from 40 msn
. Or I manually injure them for the year.

That is tough. I normally don’t care and use them anyways. But the only problem is if they go find a replacement by trade or something then you have both of those guys. Like if the Phillies if you decided to play with Hoskins but they go get a really good 1B by trade and then you have both of them.

Well, the cpu offense is alive and well on Allstar pitching difficulty once we turned off quick counts. So weird how dead they are with QC on. Just wish we could hit with QC on and pitch with it off. That's the dream that'll probably never happen. I'm glad I noticed they changed QC counting pitches now, or I wouldn't have even tried to play with it off.

We actually lowered the cpu hitting sliders to test for now if anyone is struggling with the 7/5/7/7 setup. We are down to 6/5/5/5. Only two games tested but overall satisfied. Feedback is welcome! I'm really loving the game right now. I'm going with my favorite team, the Guardians, this year in franchise mode once we get a couple of live roster updates (don't care to wait for the full minors roster from Ridin).
