I tried this roster out, was good for a few mock drafts.
Ultimately I find it hard to start a season without the OSFM rosters knowing they'll be out soon.

The question I still am not sure of is what roster--default, OSFM, or other--is best to avoid having players disappear NEXT year. Or is it unavoidable because it pertains to guys who are hurt and miss the entire year?

Trying to plan ahead would help pick the best roster for everyone. I don't mind having fictional minor leaguers whatsoever, but I think even the default roster is prone to guys disappearing because of legal issues, right?

Depending on which one you use, as there were a few top 150 prospects out on day one, they are a pretty decent base if you want to develop your own teams minors and then start a franchise. Yes it is a time commitment to add the 30-45 missing minor leaguers for your teams organization and a few more missing players, and transactions for other teams, but still beats not having it.

I have seen the OSFM rosters are no where near completion and could be late April or May. Not worth the wait for me, it's baseball season, and being as I don't play online, strictly franchise, not worth the wait, but that's just me...
