i'm just curious if you can think of any way possible that i can find a stat that would allow me to find a more current SPD number for pitchers? i know the old way was just getting their average Sprint Speed from running to 1st base after getting a hit, but obviously that's not an option anymore. thoughts on what i could do?
Nah, sprint speed is your best bet.

You could alternatively create a formula based on height and weight.

Cy, any chance could get a couple more Brewers pitchers added?

Looking for Ethan Small and Gus Varland.

Thanks!

Sounds good, thanks for the update

Yoshida is already in the game, he’s a FA.

two things I see that might be something? both revolving around the Statcast Fielding Breakdown chart on savant website. either A) use the Sprint Speed from pitchers from 2021 and before (which I already have converted) as a baseline to make a formula to finding their speed based on the information found in the Statcast Fielding Breakdown chart. B) start a new baseline from groundup based on the chart. basically I'm asking you if you think that could work or if that would be to closely connected to their fielding stat? and also I'm not 100% sure how to read that chart.

edit: a third thing i thought about for giving speed numbers to newer pitchers would be using their prospect grade, but not sure if pitchers have a running speed grade or not

No, pitchers don't get run grades
