Drafted a XF WR. He was a beast. Had him up to an 85 mid way through his first season. But he kept getting hurt. Nearly every game he would leave for at least a few plays. Checked his injury rating and it was in the 40's. Ended up trading him because i needed someone i could rely on.


Really love the realism and randomness in that. Never had to trade a good player in a previous madden because they got injured too often.

All season i was scouting safeties. Found a promising one and did the focus scouting on him. It revealed he was a Top 5 player even though he wasn't projected to go until pick 45. I thought he was my answer for the position, but he bombed the combine and now he's just a 1st Round talent.

Cool to see player grades change like that. I've gotta re-evaluate the position for deciding if I'm still gonna take a chance on him. The fog that scouting creates is really cool. Swami & Deuce did such a good job with it.

I love the replay reviews now that the referees now have attached microphones more life-like than ever. Also they review very good plays unlike in the past when there were obvious signs it was not "reviewable"

I may have missed this in the pre-release blogs, but each coordinator has their own progression paths. For example, some OCs have a power running path and others have an elusive runner path. Those paths change what upgrades you can get (accel/agility boosts vs trucking boosts). I have never put any thought into which coordinators I hire but after seeing this there's actually some strategy to it. It's really cool.
