You have to use the play the moments hack which I posted a link in my first post to a discussion on how to do it.

Exactly. The superstars are already highly rated so why do they need more abilities?

I've tried cdcool's sliders (with a few tweaks of my own), but always end up with inconsistant results...
Also, if these were to work on Play Now, would you select a team at the 'Team selection' menu, or put the controller in the middle and start with no teams selected?

I'm at work right now, but can't wait to have your feedback so I can give these a try
Yes you can! In fact I just simulated a few of the nfl playoff games with these sliders in watch mode. If you want to use custom playbooks then you have to have two controllers and two profiles, move one controller to each side, select the playbooks and start the game with a user on each side. Then when you start the game go to the game menu options and select sides, move both controllers back to the middle. If you want to just use the default playbook then all you have to do is start the game with the one controller in the middle. A warning will pop up and ask if you want to watch game, blah, blah, blah. Just confirm by selecting ok.

Re: Finding the Optimal Simulation Sliders Cpu vs Cpu Watch Mode

If you want kickoff returns, you need to lower the power on all kickers because the wind effects kickoffs, sliders do nothing on fg or kickoffs. But then add power to the sliders on field goal power to compensate for the lower rating for kick power(for kickoffs).

Am I wrong, I have never seen any sliders effect the fg or kickoff, just the wind has effects. On punts, I never get bothered enough on them to notice if sliders work there or not. But on fg/kickoffs since madden 17 notice absolutely nothing works.

Special teams sliders don’t work in franchise cpu vs cpu.

Anyone else seeing a lot more fumbles after the update a couple days ago? Seems like every game has at least 4 now

I have only played one game since the update and had one fumble.

It's probably just because I'm playing as the Bears then. Or just confirmation bias.
