BLUES DOWN KNIGHTS IN SHOOTOUT

The Knights lost in a tightly contested battle with the St. Louis Blues in a Shootout. Theodore, Marchessault and Karlsson all failed to score, while Perron netted the shootout winner.

"We just didn't capitalize on our chances" is what Head Coach Peter DeBoer had to say about the loss. The Knights Powerplay struggled to score in the game, despite having four chances.

Lehner was awarded Second Star of the Night in the loss after stopping 30 of 31 shots on net.

KNIGHTS FALL SHORT TO RED HOT OILERS

The Knights gave up the go ahead goal with just 25 seconds left in regulation. The goal was caused by a late period bad line change, resulting in a Keith break out pass to Yamamoto; who was streaking along with Hyman.

"We had no business being in that game" said Head Coach Peter DeBoer. The Knights were outplayed, outshot and out muscled in the game. If not for the stellar play of Lehner, the score could have been a lot worse.

ISLES DOUBLE UP KNIGHTS

Coming off a tough loss to Edmonton, the Golden Knights took to the ice to defend the Fortress tonight. This time against the Metropolitan Leading NY Isles.

The Isles came to play and dominated the first two periods. The Knights looked flat and finally started to play with some urgency in the 3rd. It was little too late as they couldn't muster a come back. The one bright spot was the Special Teams as the Knights went 2/2 on the Powerplay and 1/1 on the Penalty Kill.

Laurent Brossoit stopped 27 of 31 shots and came away with the Loss.

LANDESKOG HATTRICK POWERS AVS TO DOMINATE WIN

October 19th, 2021

In what is deemed as a questionable decision, Head Coach Peter DeBoer started Laurent Brossoit over Starter Robin Lehner to face the Western Conference Leading Colorado Avalanche.

Brossoit made 28 saves on 34 shots before he was pulled in favor of Lehner. Stepping in early in the third period, he would go on to make 9 saves in 11 shots.

The one bright shot for the Knights was Team Captain Mark Stone who registered 3 assists in the game.

Multiple Avalanche registered a multipoint game included Landeskog who scored 3 goals and TJ Compher with 3 assists.
