Hey guys, I just got back from a busy weekend of hockey, an update will come tommorow!

4 VS 3

The Lightning played a very nice, hard fought win to give them a win in regulation.
Vaclav Prospal sinks his second goal of the season after a beautiful pass from Martin St. Louis. Drury quickly makes it 1-1 as he scores shortly after. Mariek Malik, Jokinen, Scott Gomez, and Fritche all sink goals making it 3-3 midway through the third. Nothing else really happened that period other then Andrej Maszaros injuring Nikoli Zherdef, causing him to be on IR for 38 days. This is the second time in two games the lightning have injured a Ranger.
It looked like the game would be going into OT until Steve Downie gets a goal with .8 seconds left!
Marting St. Louis, who picked up 2 assists, was intervied after the games.



US:How does it feel to pick up a good win and 2 assists?
MS: Ummm, It feels great, you know, we really have a good team this year and I think that we will make it far!

US:So, what do you think your main problem was?
MS: We won, so I don't think that thats much of a problem

US:Any comments you wanna pinch in?
MS; Not really, Other then the fact that I am the greatest player on the lightning!

Lightning are 1-0-1 so far this season, there next game is against Carolina, They are currently 2nd in the Eastern Confrence.

it seems like you're already getting bored of this dynasty if you're even considering doing anything else this early in the dynasty. You can do what you want, but just know a couple things:

1. IN my experience, BAP's tend to be more writing, less boxscores. I mean, sure, you could make a box-score-reliant BAP, but they are never as enjoyable as BAP's filled with writing, such as Bhurst's BAP. He's got a great mix of writing and boxscores and so on and so forth.
2. Secondly, if you're going to write a BAP, make sure you are a phenomenal writer. If you write with horrible grammar or tend to lack creativity or the hard to master skill of writing descriptions, details, emotions, dialogue, and so on and so forth, BAP's aren't for you.
3. Thirdly, keep in mind that if you're going to do a goalie, goalie's have a really weird mindset--some of them are quite insane!! I know this because I myself have been playing goalie since the age of 7, and I am now 17 Either way, goalie BAP's are incredibly difficult for me to enjoy if they aren't written in a way that genuinely captures the complex thought process of a goalie--I can't speak for everyone else on the forum..

In all honestly, I actually really like this. It is simple, short, sweet, and fun to read. You've also chosen a great "rebuilding" team to take along a rollercoaster ride--that is always more fun to read than starting out, as let's say...the red wings, sharks, penguins, habs, or bruins--who don't need any help at all. I like what you have going here, but if you feel that you are already getting incredibly bored with this dynasty, then i URGE you to do what you want and make a goalie BAP.
